WILD SOUNDS FROM The Newsbeats



Larry Henley is an American singer and songwriter, born June 30, 1937 in Arp, Texas. Despite bearing resemblance to Senator Ted Kennedy he has the voice of a large black woman. "Bread and Butter" peaked at #2 on the Billboards in 1964. The Newsbeats followed with a handful of other less popular songs until disbanding in the mid 70's. Henley later returned to the top of the charts co-writing (with Jeff Silbar) the song of being in love in 1989, "Wind Beneath My Wings." Did you ever know...?
