I can see how devotees could be offended... and totally get how Akon is an unsavory dude (via humping and hurling teens) and yeah, his apology reads insincere. (Sik falsetto tho) But forreal, if you are a country that is trying to convince your remaining minority population that you aren't going to become the Buddhist nationalist nation they are worried about... don't go siding with the sling-shot chauvinists in the streets.
Also, not the most offensive Akon Vs. Sri Lankans video I can think of.
